"If everything in your life was a
lie...How far will you go to find
out the truth?"

Allison Roberts travels to and from work, dulled by medication to suppress hallucinations. So isolated, her hallucinations become her only companion in life, in the form of a four foot tall cow man named Moo. Aside from Moo, Allison takes care of her aging father but tonight is her birthday and she is going to go out for a change.
After a terrible and embarrassing night, Allison is mugged by a
desperate man with a gun named Diggs Iggins. Later on, while
going through her purse, he realizes it's her birthday and feels
terrible. He returns Allison's belongings but unfortunately, for both of them, involves her in his escape from mobsters, who are looking for a stolen bag containing... half a million dollars.
Allison against her better judgment finds Diggs endearing and
begins to form a bond with this stranger who has shaken up her
life. Although running for his life, Diggs shows an uncommon
interest in Allison and doesn't let her out of his sight. Through a
series of events, they begin to realize that their lives and the lives of everyone they knew have been deeply intertwined.
Dark secrets and family lies begin to surface as they become
increasingly more dependent on each other to survive. Diggs,
unaware of Allison's ailments and Allison, completely unaware of
what is going on, are being chased through what will be... their last night in Brooklyn.

FRANKLYN A. STRACHAN JR.

Art for an audience began in Brooklyn, NY for Franklyn at Edward R. Murrow High School. This motivated him to pursue further education in the arts (1993). He started his post secondary professional training with the Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film at Purchase College, S.U.N.Y., earning a Bachelors of Fine Arts (1997). While there he had internship as a character designer at Gepetto Soft Sculpture and Design, puppet creators (1997).

Franklyn was the founding member of CYPHER Productions (1997) and became the first director out of the starting gate with his first short movie "SWINGS"(1998). Franklyn created a fantasy world where spirits and the living draw from each other's knowledge and strengths in times of need. This movie gave birth to many of the themes and ideas that later grew into "EYES OF NY"(1999), which premiered at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. To further promote his feature length film,”EYES OF NY", Franklyn produced a series of screenings followed by concerts (2000-2001). During this time he returned to Murrow, to teach digital production courses.

After completing the tour, he produced the spoken word documentary,”IN A WORLD BY MYSELF" (2001), which also premiered at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. His next project, "KID FLICKS" (2002), was a collaboration with the NYC Board of Education. They were written by and starred, South Bronx 7th graders and were produced by Franklyn.

Franklyn continued his professional studies by earning his Masters of Fine Arts from Emerson College (2005) in Boston, MA. While there he continued to teach to teach digital production courses and produced the short film, "ADORATION" (2004). He then returned to Brooklyn with his next feature film "FADE"(2005). Both premiering at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. He also returned with the screenplay for "LAST NIGHT IN BROOKLYN".

Visual arts have been the driving force behind Franklyn's work, and most of his work starts there, although he communicates his vision in a variety of ways. Franklyn has produced music videos for artists throughout Brooklyn as well as community murals. He also organized a Community Youth Day concert with the 67th police precinct and CYPHER Productions. In addition he was a co-founder of The People Against Censorship (2007), an organization designed to fight corporate censorship of the arts. When not directing, Franklyn lends his talents as a producer and editor for SIRUS/XM'S "RON BENNINGTON INTERVIEWS" and "UNMASKED" and is an on air personality on "THE RON AND FEZ SHOW"(2008).His latest feature is "Last Night In Brooklyn".
